Slovenia is fast becoming a destination to visit for ski fanatics. The resorts are perhaps not as famous as in the more established alpine countries, that does not mean they don't offer ample skiing for a holiday.

Even though the mountains may not be as high as in neighbouring Italy or Austria, the micro-climate means they generally get excellent levels of snowfall each winter.

The cost of living is also generally cheaper than in the more established resorts, meaning it is possible to have a great holiday without breaking the bank!
