2012-13 Ski Season Dates for French Resorts
Here’s a run down on the season dates for the major ski resorts in France for the 2012-13 season.
The Portes Du Soleil will be open from the 22nd December 2012 until the 21st April 2013.
Avoriaz and Pre La Joux will open from the 15th December, with Pre La Joux aiming to open for weekends from the 1st December, snow permitting.
The entire Chamonix valley will be open from the 22nd December until the 21st April.
Les Houches is aiming to open for the weekend on the 15-16th December.
The Grand Montets area in Argentiere will open from the 8th December until the 12th May 2013.
The entire Espace Killy area will be open from the 22nd December until the 27th April.
Lifts in Val D’Isere will be open from the 1st december until the 5th May.
Tignes will have some lifts open from the 29th September until the 11th May!
The 3-Valleys is aiming to open from the 8th December until the 26th April.
Val Thorens should be open from the 24th November.
The Paradiski area will be fully open from the 22nd december until the 27th April.
Lifts in the resorts of Les Arcs and La Plagne will open a week earlier on the 15th December.
Les Deux Alpes
Les Deux Alpes is open from the 1st December until the 27th April.
The glacier will also be opened for one week from the 27th October until the 4th November 2012.
The main resort of Alpe D’Huez will be open from the 6th December 2012 untill the 26th April.
Some of the smaller satelitte resorts opening on the 15th December.
