Are child seats free, and do I need to book one?
Yes, child and baby seats are provided free of charge, but you must request them when booking your Ski-Lifts transfer. Children and infants count as passengers regardless of age, so please include them in your total passenger numbers. They cannot travel on an adult’s lap, and standard passenger fares apply.
Child seat requirements vary by country, but children under 12 or shorter than 135 cm generally need an appropriate child restraint. When booking, select the baby seat, child seat or booster seat your child requires. Entering their age alone does not reserve a seat, and we’ll assume you’re bringing your own if none is selected.
Our transfer providers can supply rear-facing and forward-facing child seats, although availability depends on the vehicle and transfer type. Child seats may not be available on larger vehicles, including coaches and scheduled shuttles.
If you’re unsure, please contact our team before booking. If you prefer to bring your own child seat, simply mention this in your booking notes.
Important: If a legally required child seat has not been requested or provided by you, we may be unable to carry out your transfer, and no refund will be available. Please check your booking carefully and see our Terms and Conditions for full details.
