What’s the difference between private, shared and scheduled shuttle transfers?
The main differences are who you travel with, when you leave and where you’re dropped off.
Private transfers
The vehicle and driver are booked for your group only. You won’t wait for other passengers or stop to pick them up or drop them off. You’ll travel directly to your accommodation, where vehicle access allows. Flights are monitored and pickups adjusted where possible.
Shared transfers
You share a vehicle with passengers arriving on similar flights. These transfers don’t run to a fixed timetable, and you may wait at the airport while other passengers arrive. The maximum waiting time is shown in your transfer description. Your driver may make other stops along the way, but will take you to your accommodation where access allows. Mainly available in winter on certain routes. Flights are monitored and pickups adjusted where possible.
Scheduled shuttles
You share a vehicle on a service that runs to a fixed timetable. You choose a departure when you book and travel between the airport and a fixed stop in the resort. You’ll need to make your own way between that stop and your accommodation. Flights aren’t monitored, so if there are delays, you will need to buy another ticket or arrange alternative travel.
