Champery belongs to the Portes du Soleil ski area with 650km of downhill skiing, 286 individual pistes and 216 lifts. Although Champery itself has 165km of pistes, buying the proper ski pass will enable you to access other Portes du Soleil 13 ski resorts.

This is a resort where snow coverage is usually reliable, as the skiing is done above the 2000 metres.

The magic in the Portes du Soleil ski area is evident in how it caters to every level of skier.

It’s a remarkable place as it gives you the excitement of crossing an international border and the opportunity to jump from one resort to the next and fully take advantage of the immensity that is the Portes du Soleil ski area. 13 resorts all linked together that present you more than 600km of runs to meddle in, ranging from the easier and gentler slopes to the most infamous ski runs – namely the Wall.

Adding to the hundreds of on-piste runs, there also hundreds of kilometres to explore off-piste if you bring a guide along with you.

If you fancy some night-skiing, you can do it on Wednesday’s through the whole evening until 10 pm. The local restaurants add special offers to the menu and soothing entertainment for the adventurous night skiers as an additional motivation.
