Copper Mountain’s 142 trails in neatly-divided sections over 1008 ha provide a grand time for people of all skill levels.
Trails start out easy in the west and get steeper and steeper as you head east. Beginners have abundant green runs off the Union Creek chair in West Village, where the ski school is headquartered. Central Village has a number of green and blue runs. East Village challenges veteran skiers with 600+ metres of vert, major blue groomers, a black diamond, and double diamonds right below the mountain’s 3,600-metre peak – that’s where the US Ski Team trains for its speed events!
Copper Mountain even offers free cat skiing on Tucker Mountain for an extra challenge.
Beyond skiing, Copper Mountain offers snowboarding, zip-lining, tubing, show-shoeing, ice-skating, and more.
