Le Tour is known for an expansive array of gentle slopes in its Domaine de Balme area. Perhaps rightfully so, because this area offers the highest concentration of blue pistes in the Chamonix Valley. Le Tour is connected to Vallorcine, so while it does offer those friendly venues for beginning skiers, the challenging pistes of Vallorcine are not far at all – striking a neat balance for families with varying skill levels. Intermediate skiers, expert skiers, and boarders will love the area’s expansive off-piste opportunities. There are also 7 reds and 1 black for those with higher experience to try.
