Skiing in Leogang mainly revolves around the Greater Astiz mountain. At the top of this mountain, you can choose to frolick in the huge sunny bowl above the trees, or take one of the long runs back down through the trees.
A few minutes away is Zwolferkogel, a resort with an excellent snow record. Perhaps more importantly, 90% of the trails here are labelled ‘easy’ or ‘intermediate’.
Experts will want to challenge themselves with the black runs of Schattberg and Zwolferkogel.
