Les Houches Ski Resort
Les Houches is a little ski resort in the Chamonix valley, France. With direct lifts to the great Mont Blanc, Les Houches provides the best skiing conditions for beginners and intermediates. With relatively low heights (1000-1900m) the resort is able to offer a great skiing experience just at the tree line. These tree runs compensate for the lack of real off-piste stretches, although 55km of marked ski runs will test the most of your skills for sure.
A new ski lift system with a total of 15 lifts will assure you quality skiing. 22 mostly forest-type slopes on the north-western side of Mont Blanc and a well-built training base will provide the best learning courses in the area. With a mix of nice slopes, gentle terrain and long descending runs, Les Houches is a great place for a family stay.
With an appropriate ski pass for Chamonix ski area, you will have access to skiing in a region with many slopes with different characteristics.
