Mayrhofen is a hugely popular resort, not only for winter sports but also summer alpine activities such as hiking, biking and paragliding.
Situated close to the Hintertux glacier, Mayrhofen has breathtaking scenery and some of the best skiing and snowboarding in Europe.

Zillertal Valley is basically one huge resort, encompassing the resorts of Hochfügen and Kaltenbach to the northeast, Zell am Ziller and Gerlos, all the way to Hintertux glacier in the south.
Mayrhofen is a reliable destination for snowfall. There’s good range of skiing here from 1650m to 2500m.
