It offers doorstep skiing and famous European snow reliability, sometimes leading to big crowds arriving when snows melt elsewhere.
The ski area itself is suited for intermediates and beginners. It offers only four kilometres of pistes for experts, while there are thirty-five kilometres of red pistes and sixty-one kilometres of blue pistes. Skiing back to the ski resort is possible because it is nearly 1,500m above sea level.
