Peisey Vallandry is a valley tied to the Paradiski. An area offering you 425km of downhill skiing, 475 individual pistes and 141 ski lifts. Peisey-Vallandry itself has 32km of pistes and 14 ski lifts. Sitting right close to Les Arcs and it’s respective stations, it would surprise you to know that Peisey Vallandry is, in fact, better located than most of Les Arcs’ stations.
It gives you unobstructed access to the whole Les Arcs and La Plagne full 420km of runs. Which means Peisey Vallandry is well situated enough to reach each of the areas within Les Arcs without costing too much time. In a sense, Peisey Vallandry is considered the hub of the whole Paradiski area.
The majority of the local runs are blue and red, shifting the tides of fortune over to intermediate and more advanced skiers. Experts have a legendary 7km run from the top of the Aiguille Rouge down to Villaroger which is well worth the effort. It is one of the world’s longest black runs and it covers the world’s biggest vertical – 2000m. If that doesn’t get you pumped, I don’t know what could.
The off-piste and high mountain skiing opportunities in Peisey Vallandry are vast when you include Les Arcs and La Plagne as part of the menu of options to explore. All in all, you can enjoy a good skiing experience if you’re moderately experienced.

The Peisey Vallandry valley is stringed together by two main villages. Peisey and Vallandry. The latter is larger and has a more ‘traditional’ spirit. Peisey feels less cultural and thus lacks the liveliness of its sister village.

Finding good ‘n affordable restaurants in both Peisey and Vallandry is everything but arduous. The friendliness of bars and restaurants in both locations is subpar, add that to the warm and delicious appetizers and you’ve found your home.

Although there aren’t many hotels in both the villages, you’re able to find a great number of high-quality chalets and other bed & breakfast settlements.
