Stuben is an Austrian ski resort associated with the Arlberg ski area. An area providing you access to 340km of downhill skiing, 248 individual pistes and 97 ski lifts. Stuben itself has 15km of ski runs for you to explore.
Stuben is an optimal choice for intermediate and advanced skiers, but don’t cut off beginners too soon. As beginners, you can head on to the nursery slopes in the village, after enrolling yourself in a ski school, and build up your experience until you’re finally capable of exploiting the full extent of the Arlberg ski area.
The skiing in Stuben begins by taking the Albona I lift from the centre of the village onto a terrain with blue and red runs. And although its an area containing only a handful of decent runs, it isn’t what most skiers search for when visiting the resort. In fact, what they seek is the well of off-piste opportunities.
