The resort was purchased by SkiStar in 2005 who own 4 of the major Scandinavian ski centres. There are 16 ski roads which link to the ski areas and there is direct access to 65km of downhill skiing, with 64 individual pistes, served by 26 ski lifts. Trysil offered Scandinavia’s first six-person chair and in 2006/2007 they introduced the first heated six-seater chairlift.
Trysil caters for all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert. With a variety of Snow and Terrain Parks it is rated highly by Snowboarders.
