Trysil Ski Resort
Trysil is Norway’s largest resort. The worlds first ski club opened here in 1861 and has subsequently been a regular supplier of Norwegian ski team members. The resort has reliable snow cover due to the Scandinavian climate.
The resort was purchased by SkiStar in 2005 who own 4 of the major Scandinavian ski centres. There are 16 ski roads which link to the ski areas and there is direct access to 65km of downhill skiing, with 64 individual pistes, served by 26 ski lifts. Trysil offered Scandinavia’s first six-person chair and in 2006/2007 they introduced the first heated six-seater chairlift.
Trysil caters for all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert. With a variety of Snow and Terrain Parks it is rated highly by Snowboarders.
