Skiing in Canazei

With 23km of pistes, 1 terrain park, a half-pipe and a great selection of runs to suit all abilities, Canazei is an excellent choice for keen skiers.

One circuit everyone skis at least once on their holiday is the Sella Ronda. It’s a 40km circuit that gives you 360-degree views of the magnificent Sella Massif that most intermediate skiers can enjoy. Due to its renowned status, Sella Ronda can get busy.

The Ciampac-Buffaure area has a number of wide beginner pistes at the top as well as 2 fantastic steeper valley runs that go down to Pozza de Fazza, that are well worth checking out. The Marmolada Glacier offers some of the best snow in the Dolomites. And the north-facing slopes above Arabba host some of the best steeper runs in the region.

Cross-country skiers will love the variety of trails at different altitudes, like the Ciampac ring at 2100m.

Facilities in Canazei

As one of the most famous ski resorts in the Dolomites, Canazei features some of the best peaks of the Dolomite Mountains, fairy-tale landscapes, vibrant nightlife, important international races like the famous Sellaronda Skimarathon downhill ski race and cultural events like the annual Gran Festa da d’Ista with a smattering of colorful costumes, shawls, and hats to celebrate the region’s cultural roots.

restaurant icon

Food might be the best-kept secret of Canazei. Its culinary tradition is especially rich from the mix of traditional Italian cuisine with that of the Austrians and Ladins, so you’ll see lots of cheese, figs, Venison, seafood, gnocchi and pasta here that you won’t see anywhere else. The local wine is a treat. Oh, and you get all this for about half of what you’d pay at most top restaurants in France!

accommodation icon

Despite its status as a top skiing destination in the Alps, Canazei offers an array of cosy, affordable accommodation that is often family-run. The 4-star Hotel Croce Bianca has been run by the same family since 1882 and boasts great food and big rooms. On the less-pricey side, Residence Contrin offers self-catering apartments just 100m from the gondola.

ski school icon

There are 2 schools in Canazei, one general and one specialising in teaching snowboarding. If you’re coming with kids, you can pair ski lessons with kindergarten for the kids to make your whole family’s experience in Canazei unforgettable. Book your ski hire in Canazei.

Airport transfer types to suit all budgets

Share the vehicle with other passengers with similar flights & destinations.

One of the most cost effective and efficient ways of getting to the resort.

Similar to a shared transfer, except this runs to a set timetable, so you're required to book a service that works for your flight times.

Generally not door-to-door but cheaper.

Book a driver and vehicle for your sole use.

No sharing with others, no waiting at the airport and a direct door-to-door service, with no additional stops en route.

Similar to a private transfer the only difference is that it is using a larger vehicle.

Perfect for larger groups wanting to travel together.

Exec & Limousine

Enjoy vehicles such as a top-of-the-range Mercedes minivan or an S-Class Mercedes limousine.

Like a private transfer, but with the additional benefit of travelling in style.
