Hemsedal’s ski area is one of only half a dozen in Scandinavia to offer a vertical of 800 metres or more. The village of Hemsedal is situated just over a mile away (2km).
Included in the lift ticket is a smaller ski area called Solheisen which caters for all abilities. Beginners can enjoy a ski area at the bottom of the mountain.
