Skiing in Kaprun

If you’re coming with kids, you’ll like Maiskogel. It’s known as the ‘Family Mountain’—there are animal statues along its gentle slopes, a kiddie snowpark, and the Maisiflitzer rollercoaster.

The Kitzsteinhorn glacial ski area is certainly not to be missed—the glacier’s 3,029m peak offers year-round fun and the chance to glide around on smooth powder while seeing a stunning scene of mountain peaks. You won’t ever forget it.

While beginner and intermediate skiers will enjoy Kitzsteinhorn’s tame pistes, a pair of black runs on the Maurerkees glacier and other challenges add to the adrenaline rush for the expert skiers.

Your lift pass allows you to ski in the resort of Zell Am See as well and the regular ski shuttle transfers you between the two resorts free of charge.
