Although Les Gets is a small resort there are lots of great bars & restaurants, and many of the bars are open until around 2 am.
Les Gets has 4 Greens, 26 Blues, 29 Reds and 9 Black pistes, so many of its slopes are suited to beginners and intermediate skiers.There are complete sections of the mountain exclusively for children only making the learning experience much easier. For those with more experience Les Gets provides access to the larger Portes du Soleil area with has routes for intermediate and expert skiers.

Les Gets has 100km of downhill pistes, however is within the larger Portes du Soleil skiing area, which is made up of 14 different interconnected resorts. Across these resorts there are over 288 marked slopes at a total of 655km of pistes. To explore the entire area you need only one ski pass and due to its size there are a great range of slopes suitable for all skiers.
Les Gets is ideal for families. There are plenty of ski and snowboarding schools, including French, British and International schools. The village itself has a quiet ambience with appetising food and wine shops, restaurants and an attractive outdoor ice rink within it.
Les Gets resort altitude is 1170m, which is fairly low so snow can be patchy towards the beginning and end of its December to April ski season. However, the resort utilises snow machines widely and has ski lifts to other resorts within the Portes du Soleil area that are at a higher altitude. Therefore, there are always many slopes accessible from Les Gets within the ski season.
