Livigno is basically a single mainly pedestrian street, which stretches just over 1km.  The street is lined with bars, hotels, specialist shops and supermarkets.  The buildings are small and traditional in size and style.  The general atmosphere in Livigno is pleasant and relaxed.

The resort itself is actually duty-free, meaning it’s a great place for shopping and it’s generally a cheap resort to be in. Livigno has a renowned food scene, with restaurants offering high-quality cuisine at great value.  The nightlife scene is quieter than you would expect in a ski resort. However, there are a few bars around town which get going around 10 p.m., late into the night.
