The resort is actually made up of three small villages, San Antonio, Santa Maria and San Rocco.

There are 115km of pistes, with lifts on either side of the valley and runs to suit all abilities.

For freestyle skiers and snowboarders the resort really comes into its own, with an impressive ten snow parks and no less than six pipes – it’s for this reason that Livigno plays host to some of the biggest competitions around.

Livigno is basically a single mainly pedestrian street, which stretches just over 1km.  The street is lined with bars, hotels, specialist shops and supermarkets.  The buildings are small and traditional in size and style.  The general atmosphere in Livigno is pleasant and relaxed.  The resort itself is actually duty-free, meaning it’s a great place for shopping and it’s generally a cheap resort to be in.
