How to get to your ski resort in Italy

Getting to Italy’s best ski resorts couldn’t be easier than with Ski-Lifts, offering both airport and train station transfers. Private transfers are a popular choice, as you will not be sharing with others or waiting at the airport as your driver will be waiting for you on arrival. It is a direct door-to-door service and our transfers include all baggage, including ski equipment, without charging extra.

A shared transfer is a popular option for budget conscious travellers who don’t mind sharing a transfer with passengers arriving or departing on similar flight times. This can mean there is a wait at the transfer meeting point on arrival, other pick-up or drop-offs en route but shared transfers are one of the most cost-effective and efficient ways of getting to your ski resort in Italy.

Whatever your group size or budget, we’ll find the perfect transfer for you – ranging from shared, private and luxury transfers.

Italy Ski Resorts

There are three large, linked ski areas in Italy, so it is easy to get some serious amounts of skiing packed into your ski holiday.

First of those ski areas is the Dolomiti Superski, which covers 1200km of pistes. Ski resorts which you can stay in to enjoy Dolomiti Superski, include; Selva Val Gardena, Ortisei, Val di Fassa and Corvara. This ski area has brilliant picturesque surroundings, mainly due to the magnificent UNESCO protected mountain Dolomiti mountain range.

Next up is the Milky Way ski area. If skiing in Italy alone isn’t enough for you, then you’ll be happy to know that the Milky Way spans over both France and Italy. The 400km of pistes connect multiple resorts, including; Sauze d’Oulx, Sestriere, Sansicario, Claviere and over the border to the French resort Montgenèvre.

Finally, the Monta Rosa ski area. This ski area is often touted as one of Europe’s best-kept secrets. There’s extensive off-piste runs to explore, as well as 180km of pistes. Resorts here are Champoluc, Gressoney and Alagna
