The Snowmass ski area covers more than 3,300 acres, which included 94 trails over 150 miles. Snowmass is also home to three terrain parks and pipes. Some of the trails stretch as long as 5 miles, so a stop at one of the 7 on-mountain restaurants will be perfect for a stop and rest. One of the locals (who happens to be the World Extreme Skiing Champion) says, “Snowmass has some of the best steeps, cliffs, couloirs, backcountry, terrain parks, and powder anywhere in North America.” It competes with the likes of Vail and Breckenridge.
Over 9/10 of the lodging in Snowmass is ski-in/ski-out, so you won’t need to waste any time when it comes to getting to the slopes.
