How long is the transfer from Turin to Cervinia?

Transfers from Turin Airport to Cervinia can usually take around 1 hour 30 minutes. However, during busy periods and peak times, this transfer time can sometimes be longer.

Is Cervinia good for beginners?

There is a good mix of pistes for beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers and snowboarders, parks, night skiing and some testing off-piste terrain. The easy gradient is perfect for beginners to gain confidence in an extensive high-mountain area.

How do I get to Cervinia in Italy?

First get the 23 Caselle Aeroporto shuttle bus to Torino Caselle Bolzano 42, which takes 40 minutes. Next walk three minutes to Torino Autostazion Bolzano Stop 7 and get the number 10 to Chatillon Autostazione which takes 1 hour 25 minutes. Wait five minutes for the 503 towards Chameron and get off at Cervinia terminal bus station in 55 minutes. From there you can walk to the resort, for a total journey of 3 hours 12. Alternatively, book a shared, private or coach transfer with Ski Lifts for a door to door service which takes approximately 1 and a half hours.

Where can I ski to from Cervinia?

A Cervinia ski pass also covers the Valtournenche and Zermatt slopes.  You can climb the lift system and travel to the nearby village of Valtournenche (5 kilometres down the valley) or cross the frontier into the more challenging resort of Zermatt in Switzerland.

Is Cervinia snow sure?

Cervinia benefits from a resort altitude of 2050m, making Breuil-Cervinia Italy’s most snow-sure resort.Due to its high altitude, Breuil-Cervinia has an especially long season between October and May, great snow and is especially popular for intermediates. Breuil-Cervinia is one of the world’s leading resorts and is known for its snow-capped mountains, including the pyramid-shaped Matterhorn.

Does Cervinia have good apres-ski?

Cervinia is one of Italy’s more lively après-ski resorts, especially during weekends, when Italian day-trippers come to visit, the atmosphere is particularly vibrant.  There is a natural ice skating rink right in the heart of Cervinia. During the Summer months, walking tours are very popular as well with breathtaking views of the Matterhorn. Cervinia also has a good range of other activities

Is Cervinia family friendly?

Cervinia has a range of activities for the family outside of skiing including a local sports centre, cinema, bowling and amusement arcade. There are three main ski schools in Cervinia; Cervino Ski School, Breuil Ski-Snowboard-Freeride School and the Matterhorn-Cervinia Ski School.
