Skiing in Flaine
Flaine is the biggest and best known of the 5 resorts in The Grand Massif ( the others being Samoens, Morillon, Les Carroz and Sixt Fer a Cheval) and what the resort lacks in attractiveness (in some people’s eyes), it more than makes up for with its quality of skiing and functionality.
The Grand Massif ski area is made up of 265km of linked pistes. With the resort of Flaine at 1,600m, the top lift at 2,500m and the proximity to Mont Blanc, the snow in Flaine is also very reliable.
Situated in the centre of a natural bowl, Flaine is perfectly located to offer skiers immediate access to slopes from their accommodation.
A Grand Massif ski pass covers Flaine and the other 4 resorts in The Grand Massif.

Who is Flaine Suitable For?
Facilities in Flaine
Flaine is well known for being a convenient resort which caters well for families. However, looking beyond its appeal to families, Flaine pretty much offers something for everyone. The Grand Massif is a brilliant and broad skiing area, with plenty on offer for everyone.
Flaine doesn’t home a huge amount of upmarket restaurants, but you won’t be disappointed with the mid-range restaurants on offer. Due to the significant family appeal of the resort, there aren’t a huge amount of bars which stay open late into the night, however, there are bars and pubs which push into the night, after the families have headed back to their hotels.
The majority of Flaine’s accommodation comes in the form of self-catered studios, chalets and apartments. The limited amount of catered chalet accommodation is found in a number of brightly coloured Scandinavian style chalets, which set themselves in the picturesque Hameau de Flaine.

Airport transfer types to suit all budgets
Share the vehicle with other passengers with similar flights & destinations.
One of the most cost effective and efficient ways of getting to the resort.
Similar to a shared transfer, except this runs to a set timetable, so you're required to book a service that works for your flight times.
Generally not door-to-door but cheaper.
Book a driver and vehicle for your sole use.
No sharing with others, no waiting at the airport and a direct door-to-door service, with no additional stops en route.
Similar to a private transfer the only difference is that it is using a larger vehicle.
Perfect for larger groups wanting to travel together.
Exec & Limousine
Enjoy vehicles such as a top-of-the-range Mercedes minivan or an S-Class Mercedes limousine.
Like a private transfer, but with the additional benefit of travelling in style.
