Higher up, Morillon 1100 (Les Esserts) is a purpose built, car-free resort which allows easy access to Le Grand Massif ski area.
With the skiing pistes standing above 2000m, Morillon is quite reliable when it comes to snow coverage.
The Morillon ski area is a place where beginner and intermediate skiers have the liberty to explore the terrain freely, with a number of gentle slopes to ski on.
This is also a ski area highly rated by snowboarders, containing a good variety of Snow and Terrain parks.
