Gressoney Ski Resort
Gressoney is an Italian resort located in the Monterosa ski area. An area giving you access to 199km of downhill skiing, 64 individual pistes and 52 ski lifts.
If you don’t find it to be a stimulating experience within Gressoney, you can purchase the appropriate lift pass to visit other nearby resorts such as; Alagna, Antagnod, Brusson, Champoluc and Champorcher – these at least one of these will offer you what you are looking for.
Beginners or other less experienced skiers have an appropriate plateau in Gressoney where they can ski to their heart’s content. It is called Wold, and it is located 500m north of the village. Despite its altitude, it is usually covered in snow due to the usage of snow cannons.
Gressoney is situated between the Champoluc and Alagna valleys – and with the number of lifts available, you can easily visit both valleys. They have a varied amount of trails that are befitting of every level of skier.
There are also a number of on and off-piste circuits that are considered more of a challenge to skillful skiers; including the Mount Rose Grand Tour.
