La Clusaz offers skiing and snowboarding across five different mountain areas, with terrain ranging from gentle beginner slopes to steeper pistes and freeride areas.
Beauregard and Manigod are particularly well suited to beginners and intermediates, while Aiguille and Balme provide more challenging terrain for experienced skiers. The ski area also includes a snowpark and fun zones for snowboarders and freestyle skiers.

La Clusaz Village and Après-Ski
La Clusaz combines skiing with the atmosphere of a traditional Savoyard mountain village. The centre has a good selection of restaurants, cafés, shops and bars, with accommodation spread throughout the village and surrounding mountain areas.
Après-ski is generally more relaxed than in some of the larger purpose-built French resorts, although there are plenty of places for drinks and evening entertainment. Visitors can also enjoy traditional Savoyard food and local specialities, including Reblochon cheese, which has strong historical links with the Les Aravis region.

La Clusaz has several ski access points around the resort, so where you stay can determine which part of the ski area is easiest to reach. If you want to explore further afield, the Grand Massif is another major ski area within Haute-Savoie. It is separate from La Clusaz and is not connected by ski lifts or pistes, so you will need to travel by road to reach it. The Grand Massif links five resorts — Flaine, Les Carroz, Morillon, Samoëns and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval — providing a much larger alternative ski area for visitors planning to explore more of the French Alps during their stay.
