Skiing in Les Menuires
Located below Val Thorens in the Three Valleys, Les Menuires was originally developed in 1964 and sits at an altitude of 1850m. In an area of famously expensive resorts, Les Menuires bucks the trend and is a much cheaper alternative to the likes of Courchevel.
There are over six hundred kilometres of pistes connected by two hundred lifts on your doorstep, and you can enjoy the best that the connected resorts of Courchevel, Meribel and Val Thorens, as well as Les Menuires itself, has to offer.
The St Martin and Les Menuires Pass offers you more than 150km of tracks with more than 30 modern lifts while costing less than 30% of what a 3 Vallées pass would. If you would like to adventure into a far more spacious area, the Belleville Valley pass grants you more kilometres to ski than most resorts in the world – 300km of trails that go all the way from St Martin to Val Thoren in a beautiful setting.
There are enticing options available for beginners. The ESF has done others haven’t – they created a beginner’s village, a contained area of 5000 square metres close to Preyerand area specifically designed for those who are just starting.
Les Menuires is excellent for intermediate skiers. For most people, the favourite trails are the Mont de la Chambre – a wide motorway ideal to practice turns and there is also the Grand Lac offering 1304m of vertical going all the way down to St Martin. Apart from these two, you can find many others like the Pluviometre or the Allemands given the right snow conditions.
If you are a more advanced skier, you can enjoy the circuits in the La Masse sector.

Who is Les Menuires Suitable For?
Facilities in Les Menuires
Les Menuires is hardly the most attractive resort in the French Alps – if you’re visiting and expect to find a beautiful and picturesque village square and a seductive charm typical of French Alps’ villages, then this place might not be the best fit. However, it is a paradise for skiing enthusiasts.
Les Menuires has a moderate quantity of restaurants and bars to drink or dance, but it’s not as busy as the rest of the resorts in the Three Valleys. It is a place where families and individuals on a budget can thoroughly enjoy themselves.
Aside from the two four-star hotels in the village, Les Menuires is a place where low-cost prices are abundant. You can find a lot of low-cost self-catering accommodation. Alas, modern chalets and new residences are being built promptly.
The ESF is the dominant big-league ski-school in the Les Menuires, consisting of 200 instructors speaking eight different languages. In spite of this, new alternatives have been sprouting as the resort expands. Book your ski hire in Les Menuires.

Airport transfer types to suit all budgets
Share the vehicle with other passengers with similar flights & destinations.
One of the most cost effective and efficient ways of getting to the resort.
Similar to a shared transfer, except this runs to a set timetable, so you’re required to book a service that works for your flight times.
Generally not door-to-door but cheaper.
Book a driver and vehicle for your sole use.
No sharing with others, no waiting at the airport and a direct door-to-door service, with no additional stops en route.
Similar to a private transfer the only difference is that it is using a larger vehicle.
Perfect for larger groups wanting to travel together.
Exec & Limousine
Enjoy vehicles such as a top-of-the-range Mercedes minivan or an S-Class Mercedes limousine.
