Chamonix is arguably the worlds most famous ski resort and with its very short transfer time from
Geneva airport, it is a great option for short breaks as well as longer holidays.
Nestled at the bottom of the
Chamonix Valley, below the towering peaks of Mont Blanc, Chamonix has become a must visit resort for any mountain enthusiast. The Chamonix Valley is made up of numerous separate villages and resorts, the largest and most central of these being the town of Chamonix.
Chamonix is made up of two distinct alpine areas, with their own resorts. In total there are 157km of pistes, with off-piste in abundance.
Chamonix has its own micro-climate, due to being in the shadow of Mont Blanc, Western Europe’s highest peak.
