Should I book a transfer to Avoriaz or Avoriaz cable car?

Avoriaz is a car-free ski resort, so your driver cannot take you directly to your accommodation. You’ll need to select one of two drop-off points when booking your Avoriaz transfer:

• 🏔️ Avoriaz Welcome Centre (Resort Entrance – Falaise Area)
  Best if your accommodation is located in the upper or central area of Avoriaz. Your transfer will take you directly to the Welcome Centre, where you can continue by horse-drawn sleigh, shuttle, or on foot. This is the most popular option for guests staying inside the main resort.
• 🚠Avoriaz Cable Car (Prodains Téléphérique) Convenient for properties located near the lower part of the resort. This route is typically 20–30 minutes faster, and if you already have your lift pass, you can use it for the cable car ride instead of buying a separate ticket.
• ⚠️ However, note that the cable car does not operate late at night or very early in the morning, so always check its opening times before booking.

At both locations, resort transport (horse-drawn sleighs or snow shuttles) is available to take you to your accommodation, costing around €8 per person.
