Bad Hofgastein has over 890 acres of terrain to ski along with over 64 pistes totaling 54km of incredible snow to ski across. Bad Hofgastein is suited for intermediate skiers with its amazing 1460 meter vertical descent. There are over 90km of cross country trails and over half the pistes are maintained by snowmakers.
Bad Hofgastein has one of the largest ski areas that is usually available throughout the whole winter season, as long as snow conditions remain normal.
The resort is spacious while spread over a flat valley floor, there are many scenic valley views to explore. There are a wide variety of red runs for intermediates.
However, this area is best suited for both intermediate and beginner skiers. It consist of 30% beginner pistes and 60% intermediate pistes. Suitable for for people of all ability.
