Avoriaz is a popular and well known resort in the Portes Du Soleil around an hour and a half transfer from Geneva Airport, situated at altitude above the town of Morzine.

Avoriaz is a purpose built resort with a difference, famed for its innovative architecture, as well as the huge variety of ski and snowboarding terrain on offer.

Avoriaz attracts visitors from all over the world and because of this it has an atmosphere that is unique, with a good range of restaurants on offer and a very lively après-ski scene, with regular music events held throughout the winter season.

Many restaurants in Avoriaz specialise in traditional Savoyard food, such as tartiflette or fondue.
 
Within the Hotel Dromonts is the Christophe Leroy restaurant, which is a true fine dining experience. Other restaurants worth noting are La Reserve or Chez Flo.

However, there is a great selection to choose from, with many burger and pizza restaurants and creperies on hand as well.
