Les Gets Bars and Restaurants

Situated in the infamous Portes Du Soleil region around an hour transfer from Geneva Airport, Les Gets is a picturesque Savoyard mountain town with charming unspoilt chalet-style buildings. Les Gets has retained much of its character and charm and has excellent facilities for shopping, eating-out and après-ski.

With a vast range of restaurants to choose from, having a great meal out isn’t the difficult part, it’s choosing which restaurant to eat in. With many restaurants in Les Gets specialising in traditional Savoyard cuisine, it is hard to go wrong with local delights such as fondue and tartiflette. Some restaurants worth a mention include La Peau De Vache or La Pela.

Alternatively, for something a little different, try Le Grande Ourse situated on the Mont Chery, run by a Cornish family they offer a very different twist on some local dishes, for something even more exciting try Alt.1490 Exclusif.

Most of Les Gets bars are located on a central road in the heart of the town. There are various bars to cater for most tastes, but some which are worth a look include, Bar Bush, The Dubliner and The Bear (or Canadian Bar), as well as a nightclub, The Igloo for those looking to party late into the night. New additions to the town include Le Cowbell and Alba.
