Tignes is a paradise for ski lovers. Belonging to the great Espace Killy, an area regarded by many as the best spot throughout Europe – it contains endless motorways for intermediate skiers to delve in and lose themselves in the combined 300km of snowy trails.
Tignes is undoubtedly the go-to place for experienced skiers in Europe.
Beginners might not be able to indulge themselves in a fun-loving experience, but they do have 5 free lifts to choose from in the resort before they get the much need experience under their belt.
Furthermore, you cannot skip the high-speed trip on the technological underground funicular that will take you to the Grand Motte glacier where wide gentle trails exist, with breathtaking views to contemplate as you rest.
Intermediates will spend fun times in this paradise with 100 blue and red runs (ranging between Tignes and Val D’Isère) supported by an extremely secure and modern lift that was developed to transport you downhill in a quick and efficient fashion.
The ones having the most fun, however, are the experts. There are simply too many great black trail options, including the infamous ‘The Wall’ and the ‘Double M’ runs presenting bigger challenges.
