Avoriaz is a popular and well known resort in the Portes Du Soleil around an hour and a half transfer from Geneva Airport, situated at altitude above the town of Morzine. Avoriaz is a car free resort, something which adds to its charm, public transport in the town takes the form of horse drawn sleighs and snowmobiles.
