Ski Resort Information > Getting to Avoriaz

There really is very little point in driving to Avoriaz, the journey from the UK through France can take upwards of 9-hours and motorway tolls add up. As Avoriaz sits at 1800m there is a good chance you'll have to drive in difficult conditions and may have to fit snow chains. And finally, Avoriaz is a car free resort, so you have to leave your vehicle in a car park at the edge of resort anyway.

Ski-Lifts offer transfers to either Avoriaz itself, or to the Prodains cable car, which takes you directly to the lower end of the resort.

Why not let the professional Ski-Lifts drivers take you to the resort in the comfort? All of our vehicles are fitted with winter tyres, our drivers are experienced and trained in driving in alpine conditions.
This means that you can sit back and enjoy the ride!
