Are there any extra charges on top of the published prices? Are these included in the price that you receive from the quote generator?
No, there are not any extra charges on top of our published prices.
The price the quote generator quotes is the total price that you pay.


 
Avoriaz transfers – what happens in the case of poor weather and road conditions?
Due to it’s high altitude and the fact it only has one thin road that allows access to it, Avoriaz can occasionally be very difficult to access by road.
In the case of severely adverse weather or road conditions going up to Avoriaz from Morzine, Ski-Lifts Ltd reserve the right to explore other suitable transport options for our customers to reach Avoriaz from Morzine (or vice verca). This will only ever be done where it is felt there is a substantial risk involved in attempting the journey.

Any extra cost involved in this will be payable by the customer, which can then subsequently be claimed back from your holiday insurance company (Ski-Lifts will supply documentation to aid this process).


 
Can I be dropped off at a train station?
We offer Private Transfers to a number of different train stations.
You will be able to see if this option is available to you by using the Quote Generator.

If the train station you require is not displayed, please contact us directly for a quote.


 
Can I be dropped off at an airport hotel?
You can book a Private Transfer to an airport hotel. If this option is available you will be able to select it on the Quote Generator.
If you cannot see this option, please contact us directly and we will be happy to advise.

If you are booking a Shared Transfer you will only be able to take this to the airport and you will then need to make your own way to the hotel from there.


 
Can I make amendments to my booking?
It is possible to make changes to your booking up to our online booking deadline (72 hours before the day of travel), by visiting our website and using the login details you receive when you make your booking. After the booking deadline, you will need to contact our office, detailing the changes you wish to make and we will make the amendment for you.

As long as the changes you are making to your booking are before the booking deadline and do not effect a change in the cost of the transfer (for example by adding extra passengers means we have to use additional or larger vehicles) then we will not charge you any additional fees or admin charges.

For last minute changes to your booking, we will always do our very best to accommodate your requirements without passing on any additional costs to you.


 
Can I specify a drop off time for a departure transfer?
Yes you can. If you are booking a departure transfer but do not intend to catch a flight then please input a specific drop off time (the time you would like to be at the airport by). We will schedule your transfer so that you will arrive at the airport before this time. Please note our private and shared transfer rules still apply.


 
Can you pick me up from an Airport hotel instead of the airport?
We can offer Private Transfers to pick up or drop off at an airport hotel. Where there is an option to pick up from a hotel instead of the airport please select this option on the Quote Generator and please be aware that there may be a difference in price.

Shared Transfers can only pick up or drop off at the airport so you must make your own way to the airport to meet the transfer. As you will not have a flight in this situation, please make up a flight time based on the time that you will get to the airport and be aware that you may then have to wait for the next scheduled transfer (if timetabled) or wait for the time indicated on the transfer description for the transfer to leave.


 
Different members of my group are arriving on different flights – how should I make my booking?

The answer to this question depends upon whether you all want to:
(1) wait for each other and share a minibus, or:
(2) each member of the group prefers to leave as soon as possible after their flight arrives.

(1) Since you all wish to travel in the same minibus, please enter the flight details of the LAST flight to arrive as your primary flight. Then please enter all details of other flights into the ‘any other information’ box on the booking form.

(2) Since you wish to leave as soon as possible, please make a new transfer on your booking using the shopping basket, for each group that wishes to leave separately (again using the LAST flight to arrive as the primary flight).

This same principal applies if you have different groups departing on different flights, in which case reverse the process by entering the FIRST flight to depart as this is the time we will then base your transfer pick up time on.

Do Ski-Lifts offer any discount for young children or babies?
Ski-Lifts offer fares on a per-seat basis and it is a legal requirement that every passenger (regardless of age) has their own seat in the vehicle and in the case of children, an appropriate baby or child seat. Therefore unfortunately we can not offer any discount for younger customers.
We will however supply child or baby seats when requested, at no added charge to the customer.
